Laceration Repairs/Wound Assessment
Healing Hooves, Restoring Health: Expert Laceration Repairs and Wound Assessment.
Service Description
Lacerations are one of the most common cases we see in our large animal patients. Once we arrive to your property, we will sedate your animal first in order to better assess the wound. Depending on the severity and age of the wound, our vet will either close it with primary or second intention methods. We will provide a necessary tetanus antitoxin vaccine, pain medications, and antibiotics if indicated to keep your animal protected and comfortable. Antibiotics come with pain medication and lidocaine block. Prices start with the listed price and increase on case basis. (Prices vary).
Cancellation Policy
When booking, an estimate can be provided to you detailing all services needed (if not shown on the website) or by request via email. An estimate is optional, however, highly recommended when being transparent with what to expect financially. Once an estimate is received, you will need to approve or decline services via email or text. Booking is strictly based on availability and the nature of the visit. At this time, no deposit is required to book an appointment, however a non-fundable/non-transferable travel fee will be incurred if an appointment is missed or cancelled without proper notice. You will NOT be able to book another appointment until the fee is PAID IN FULL. Please see cancellation/rescheduling policy.
